Your Personal Data:

What we need

Mr Kirk Hutton owner of Huttons Clay Cartridge Store will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide .

I only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information.

This does however include name, address, section one and section 2 certificate numbers, firearms serial numbers, and descriptions of said firearms , shotguns, air weapons that are recorded in the firearms and air weapons register as demanded under the firearms act and on behalf of the home office and Kent police firearms department.

Cookies and visiting web data is not collected.

CCTV is recorded due to security demands and warning signs are displayed before entering the premises.


Why I need it

Data taken is for legal requirements under the firearms act during sale , storage or other purposes as required by law.

I will not collect any personal data from you I do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.


What I do with it

All the personal data we process is processed by Mr Hutton and kept secure and private.

No parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

(ie a firearms enquirery officer Kent police carrying out their duty's under uk law subject to the firearms act)

No information is kept for marketing or on computer except for email addresses to reply to queries and give quotes

that are requested.

Contact phone numbers are held only to reply to missed calls.

Bank details for bank transfer paying customers are only kept at my banks website and not recorded anywhere else.

I do not process card payments so credit and debit card details are not kept.


How long I keep it

I am required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

And 5 years for all RFD related transactions as under the firearms act.

I do not keep information or use it for marketing purposes.

This information is not shared with any third party purposes and you.

CCTV is kept on a constant recording recycled after one month approx.


What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted.

If you wish to raise a complaint on how I have handled your personal data you can contact  Mr Kirk Hutton

who will investigate the matter.

Or the firearms department FEO of Kent police.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal

data not in accordance with the law you can complain to Mr Kirk Hutton at any time or call to arrange a time to visit in person to discuss any worries you may have.
